Rutland Regional Medical Center is seeking a Polysomnographic Technologist to set up and operate polysomnographic equipment for diagnosing and treating sleep disorders. The role includes scoring data and preparing reports, while maintaining safety measures as needed.
Required background includes a high school diploma or equivalent, with an Associate's degree preferred. CPSGT and BRPT/AASM A-Step training are expected, along with BLS certification.
Under general supervision of the Director or Medical Director, the Polysomnographic Technologist is responsible for setting up and operating Polysomnographic equipment to be utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep related disorders. In addition, the technologist must have a thorough understanding of all monitored parameters which are utilized in the computer scoring and preparation of Polysomnographic reports. Ability to institute and maintain life saving measures is required.
*RRT-SDS credentials maybe be substituted for CPSGT Certification
Pay Range: $29.23 - $42.58
