AdventHealth in Calhoun, GA is seeking a Sleep Technologist to perform polysomnography procedures according to physician orders and department policies. You will assess patients and maintain accurate documentation to support safe, patient-centered care during night shifts.

Job Description:

Work Schedule: 3 12's nights 7p-7a. No call required.

• Performs polysomnography procedures according to physician orders, department policies, and patient care plans while adapting testing procedures and equipment to obtain quality diagnostic data.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments, addresses special medical conditions, and takes appropriate action to support safe, patient-centered care.
• Maintains accurate billing, documentation, confidentiality, and reliability standards while responsibly using hospital equipment, supplies, and resources.
• Educates and supports patients and families by modifying teaching strategies to meet individual needs, including vision, hearing, or cognitive limitations.
• Participates in department meetings, continuing education, and performance improvement initiatives to maintain clinical excellence and compliance.

Education:

• High School Grad or Equiv Required

Work Experience:

• 1+ experience as a sleep tech Required
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) Preferred

Licenses and Certifications:

• Registered Polysomnography Technologist (RPSGT) Required

Pay Range:

$22.88 - $42.56
