Qualifications

• Meet BRPT/ AASM registry requirements for RPSGT or RST.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or CPR certification required.
• Certified as RPSGT or RST.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of polysomnographic exams on sleeping patients to detect sleep disorders.
• Follows protocols to ensure data collection and documents procedures for scoring.
• Collects and analyzes patient information to tailor testing parameters and educate patients.
• Prepares and calibrates equipment; scores sleep/wake stages and clinical events.
• Maintains equipment and complies with safety and infection-control standards.
