Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Topeka, KS is seeking a day shift, part-time Sleep Center Polysomnographic Tech to join the Sleep Lab. You will perform sleep studies, calibrate equipment, and educate patients under supervision.

Required: RPGST or RT with SDS certification within 1 year and BLS within 14 days of hire. This role offers a supportive, care-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPGST) or Respiratory Therapist (RT/RRT) with SDS certification within 1 year.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Polysomnography Technologists perform sleep studies, calibrate, and maintain equipment, and educate patients, families and other care providers.
• Technologists work under the supervision of the Sleep Lab Manager and Medical Director and are responsible for performing patient care activities and other tasks that contribute to high-quality, safe, and effective patient care.
