The PSGT safely operates sophisticated medical equipment used to record sleep/wake physiology, explains procedures, prepares patients and applies recording devices.

Required Qualifications

• Upon hire: California Polysom Technologist License
• Upon hire: National Registered Polysomnographic Technologist - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists, or
• Upon hire: National Certified Polysomnographic Technician - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 1 year of experience as a polysomnographic technologist; 2 years preferred.
• Upon hire: Membership in Association of Polysomnographic Technologist (APT) or American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM)
