Job Summary / Purpose

Perform standard Polysomnographic testing as directed according to established practice in accordance with standards published by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the Association of Polysomographic Technologists. Provide patient care/services based on identified needs/developmental level for all patient populations, including assessment of individual needs, age-specific education, communication, planning, and interventions. Ensure effective use of department resources, promote cooperation, and perform polysomnographic recordings.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent; graduate of an accredited polysomnographer program.

Required Licensure and Certifications

RPSGT, CPSGT, RESP-LIC:KY, BLS-CPR.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Working knowledge of computers, adequate conversational English for communication, safety, and policy adherence.
