Responsibilities

  • Sign On Bonus up to $6,000 and Student Loan Payback up to $24,000 for eligible hires

Job Summary / Purpose

Perform standard Polysomnographic testing as directed according to established standards by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the Association of Polysomographic Technologists. Provide patient care/services based on identified needs, considering age-specific characteristics, and ensuring individualized care. Use department resources effectively, promote cooperation, and perform polysomnographic recordings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow safety and emergency procedures.
  • Document activities per hospital policies.
  • Perform polysomnographic recordings.
  • Provide care/services based on patient needs.
  • Use required equipment appropriately.
  • Consult with hospital resources.
  • Demonstrate professional responsibility and core values.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate of an accredited polysomnographer program.

Required Licensure and Certifications

  • RPSGT, CPSGT, RESP-LIC:KY, BLS-CPR

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Training

  • Basic computer skills.
  • Effective communication in English.
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and hospital policies.

Pay Range

$21.23 - $29.20 /hour
