Job summary

The Technical Operator at WACKER’s Charleston, TN site works in small teams to safely harvest polysilicon, open and reassemble reactors, and operate various equipment. You will input batch data and downtime information into digital tracking systems.

We seek individuals with a High School Diploma or GED, technical/mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.

• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Physical strength and endurance for a fast-paced production environment.
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and reassemble reactors to harvest polysilicon.
• Operate reactors and various forms of mobile equipment and overhead cranes.
• Input batch and downtime information into digital tracking systems.
• Report production issues and provide feedback to technical staff.
• Ensure housekeeping and 6S standards are met in assigned areas.
• Follow health, safety, and quality policies.
