Job summary

Techmer PM, located in Clinton, TN, seeks a Technical Service Engineer to lead and coordinate technical service and product development activities in close partnership with Sales. You will manage customer technical cases from initiation to resolution, prioritize work orders for product development, and support new product commercialization to drive revenue growth.

Qualifications

Degree in polymer science, chemistry, engineering preferred.
Five+ years of plastics industry experience.
Proficiency in Excel/Word/PowerPoint, strong communication.
Experience with Salesforce preferred.
Knowledge of plastic testing methods and extrusion processes.
Ability to learn and apply technical knowledge in product development.
Ability to interpret analytical data and drive corrective actions.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate technical service and product development activities in partnership with Sales.
Own customer technical cases end-to-end with timely resolution and communication.
Direct and prioritize work orders to support product development and trials.
Partner with Sales to provide technical expertise enabling opportunity conversion.
Ensure on-time completion of work orders and escalation of roadblocks.
Coordinate with QA for root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Support customer trials, launches, and development of marketing literature.
