Job summary

Markent Personnel, Inc. is seeking a Research Manager (Polymers) to lead R&D activities in a laboratory setting in Michigan. You will guide laboratory teams, oversee project execution, and ensure research is conducted safely and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include managing projects end-to-end, supervising staff, overseeing LIMS documentation, and collaborating across functions to drive R&D goals while upholding quality and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Experience managing laboratory teams in a research setting.
• Strong project management, analysis, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Knowledge of polymers and laboratory techniques.
• Familiarity with GLP, GMP/CGMP, FDA regulations, and regulatory compliance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate research projects from planning through data collection and analysis.
• Supervise laboratory staff and ensure proper use of procedures, techniques, and instruments.
• Oversee laboratory operations, including documentation and LIMS management.
• Collaborate across functions to communicate findings and support R&D goals.
• Help strengthen research quality and regulatory compliance to support development decisions.
