Job summary

LyondellBasell Industries, a global leader in the chemical industry, seeks an Inventory Planning Supervisor in Houston to lead a team of Inventory Planners. You will drive best-in-class inventory planning, oversee ISTO execution, and coordinate with Logistics, Operations Planning, and regional HUB teams to balance service levels and costs.

You will mentor staff, monitor KPIs, and lead improvements in planning processes, SAP tooling, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

Minimum of 8 years’ experience in supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, or a related field.
Demonstrated leadership experience, either through direct people leadership or leading cross-functional projects and initiatives.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate clearly in a fast-paced operational environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems such as SAP.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of Inventory Planners to achieve best-in-class inventory planning performance across RDCs and packaging types.
Provide routine feedback and performance coaching to support individual development and accountability.
Coordinate cross-functional project teams to align objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
Monitor inventory health metrics (service level, turns, aging) and drive corrective actions.
Support ISTO ownership and material flow coordination within Inventory Planning.
