Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States is seeking an entry-level polymer/lab technician to assist with sample prep, testing, and data recording. You will set up and maintain lab equipment and conduct thermal, electrical, mechanical, and chemical analyses on polymer products.

You will follow SOPs and ISO procedures, maintain thorough documentation, and contribute to process improvements while supporting inventory control and packaging/shipment activities.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor's/Master's in Polymer/Materials/Chemistry.
• 0-2 years lab experience (internships acceptable).
• Basic knowledge of polymer testing and lab practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in sample preparation, testing, and data recording.
• Set up, operate, and maintain lab equipment.
• Conduct thermal, electrical, mechanical, and chemical analysis on polymer products.
• Follow SOPs, ISO procedures, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Maintain records of observations, process conditions, and test results.
• Manage lab inventory, packaging, labeling, and shipment of materials.
• Support failure analysis, product development, and process improvements.
• Follow EHS and 5S practices; suggest improvements.
