Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled Polymer Materials Analyst to perform preparation, characterization, and testing of polymer materials, and to analyze data in support of product development and quality assurance.

The role requires hands-on experience with thermal, electrical, mechanical, and chemical characterization techniques (TMA, DSC, DMA, FTIR, Chromatography, UTM, dielectric testing) and collaboration with global teams to ensure data integrity and compliance with ISO/IATF/ASTM standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in polymer-related field.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and characterization of various polymer materials.
• Operation & handling of characterization equipment.
• Perform advanced polymer testing, analysis, and failure investigations.
• Develop, execute and validate test methods and protocols.
• Conduct thermal, electrical, mechanical, and chemical analysis.
• Prepare and test samples as per standard (ISO, IATF, ASTM, customer methods etc.).
• Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain housekeeping.
• Record, review, interpret, and communicate test results clearly.
• Collaborate with internal and global teams to develop methods and ensure data quality.
