About the job Polymer Application Technologist

We are seeking an Application Technologist with expertise in thermoplastic polymer processing to support product development, application testing, and technical services. The role involves operating and troubleshooting polymer processing equipment, conducting ASTM/ISO lab tests, and ensuring mechanical integrity of machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and troubleshoot extruders, injection molding machines, blown film lines, and other polymer processing equipment.
• Conduct material testing and analysis using standard lab methods.
• Maintain lab procedures and propose equipment modifications for better efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineers and scientists on product and application development.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in thermoplastic polymer processing (extrusion, molding, compounding).
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with ASTM/ISO testing methods and technical reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Office and technical documentation.
• Bachelor's degree in Polymer Engineering, Material Science, or related field preferred.
