Trelleborg Sealing Solutions US Inc is seeking a Polymer Process Engineer to lead R&D on polymer processing methods,-scale production, and equipment development. The role emphasizes efficient processing, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
The candidate will work with injection molding equipment, automation, and polymers knowledge to scale processes to production and support continuous improvement. Domestic/international travel up to 20% is possible.
The Polymer Process Engineer is responsible for the Research & Development of methods, processes, tools, and systems required for the company’s advancement in polymer offerings. Defines, develops & documents efficient processing methods, parameters, procedures, and materials. Develops equipment/tooling to facilitateproduction-capable process scaling.
Up to 20% domestic and international.
The final compensation offered to the candidate may be based on geographical location, work experience and/or skill level. Additions to the compensation package, including but not limited to paid time off, insurance benefits and 401(k) eligibility, will be outlined at the time of the job offer.
Compensation range: $82,000 - $123,500
