Job summary

Hadrian is seeking an Operations and Systems Engineering Leader to scale polymer additive manufacturing into integrated, automated production systems. You will own polymer AM production operations, drive integration into the OPUS platform, and partner with OEMs to unlock advanced capabilities and reliability.

The role focuses on scaling production for sUAS and defense platforms, requiring deep polymer AM experience, automation fundamentals, and a track record of industrializing complex equipment

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of polymer additive manufacturing operations, systems engineering, or related fields.
• Experience with polymer AM tech such as Stratasys SAF, HP MJF, FDM, SLA, or SLS.
• 3+ years of people leadership experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of polymer powder bed fusion or material extrusion architectures.
• Experience with production-grade polymers PA11/PA12.
• Experience integrating equipment into MES/SCADA or similar software.
• Willing to travel up to 20% and US citizen or permanent resident for ITAR compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own polymer AM production operations including scheduling, throughput, yield, utilization, and on-time delivery.
• Lead end-to-end integration of polymer AM machines, peripherals, and cell infrastructure into OPUS, including connectivity, telemetry, data quality, and interlocks.
• Define system requirements, ICDs, integration kits, and machine acceptance criteria across OEMs and sites.
• Lead automation strategy for AM cells including material handling, build volume exchange, and post-processing.
• Serve as Hadrian's technical lead with OEMs and automation partners to develop joint roadmaps and deliverables.
• Build FAT/SAT protocols and validation plans, aligning with Quality and Process teams.
