Fathom is seeking a Polymer Additive Technician on 1st and 2nd shifts to operate a range of additive manufacturing machines. The role focuses on post-build work: removing supports, inspecting parts for defects, and preparing shipments to meet deadlines.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in a similar role, strong attention to detail, and familiarity with additive manufacturing processes. Position is full-time and on-site in Hartland, WI with hourly pay of $18.00–$24.00.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail is essential.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Experience using hand tools and basic shop equipment.
• Ability to lift/move up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to read work orders and technical drawings.
• Capable of working both in a team and independently.
• Must be motivated with high energy and drive.
• Familiarity with additive manufacturing technologies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Remove printed jobs from 3D printers and perform post-build maintenance.
• Remove support material and structures from printed models.
• Load machines with material and recycle post-process material for next build.
• Prepare machines for builds and perform preventative maintenance.
• Remove supports from models using tools and grinders.
• Inspect, package, and ship orders when completed.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Communicate order details and non-conformances to supervisor.
• Update order details in MES software and track shipments.
