Job summary

Fathom is seeking a CNC Machinist for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift in Hartland, WI. The role involves setup and operation of CNC vertical machining centers and horizontal lathes, plus MDI programming and thorough inspection of parts.

You will read GD&T from 2-D drawings and contribute to lean manufacturing efforts. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years experience or an associate degree, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 3+ years in relevant field preferred.
• Strong work ethic and high attention to detail.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, team environment and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate CNC vertical machining centers.
• Setup and operate horizontal lathes.
• MDI programming using appropriate controls.
• Inspect parts with gauges and instruments.
• Read GD&T and 2-D drawings.
• Monitor and inspect parts during machining.
• Follow quality and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with team to solve technical issues.
• Participate in Lean manufacturing events.
