Job summary

Scoot Education is seeking caring educators to support students with special needs in school settings. You’ll work 1:1 or in small groups, build trust, and help create a safe, nurturing classroom environment. You’ll also assist lead teachers with IEP delivery and adapt to various classroom scenarios.

Roles vary by state, with paid training, weekly deposits, and a W-2 arrangement. Background checks are reimbursed, and eligible staff may enroll in a 401k plan after meeting requirements.

What you’ll do:

• Some roles include assisting various mod to severe scenarios such as Toileting; Personal 1:1 Care; Non-Verbal; Challenging or Aggressive Behaviors in the Classroom

Daily Pay Range:

Pay will vary for day-to-day assignments and is typically more for long-term placements. Pay varies by certification, school, and assignment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Passion for education and putting students first
• An empathetic nature, a growth mindset, and a drive to be the best you can be
• College credits, Associate’s Degree, Bachelors Degree or CBEST
• Three professional references, including at least one from a previous supervisor
• State & federal background checks

You’ll stand out if you have:

• Worked with children who have Special Education needs
• Spent time in Special Education settings
• Any Special Education specific training
• ABA experience (Applied Behavior Analysis)
• Experience working in K-12 schools
• Experience with assisting in various mod to severe scenarios such as Toileting; Personal 1:1 Care; Non-Verbal; Challenging or Aggressive Behaviors in the Classroom
