Madera Community College at Oakhurst is seeking an equity‑mindful instructor to teach part‑time Political Science courses. The position is part of a continuous recruitment pool; applications will be reviewed when vacancies arise.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned part‑time Political Science courses using varied pedagogies and technology for face‑to‑face, online, and hybrid formats.
• Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
• Follow institutionally approved curriculum outlines.
• Assess student learning through assignments, tests, and examinations.
• Provide course syllabi and maintain records per District Policy.
• Submit grading and evaluation reports on time.
• Adapt to various instructional settings and schedules as needed.
• Fulfill all duties required by Administrative Regulation 7122.
• Other duties assigned.

Salary and Benefits

• Newly hired part‑time faculty placed on step one of the Part‑Time Faculty Salary Schedule.
• Salary based on education and experience per the Part‑Time Faculty Salary Classifications.
