Job summary

Democratic National Committee in Washington, DC seeks a Research Associate to support campaigns with rigorous public records research, data analysis and rapid response writing.

You will read news, analyze voting histories and campaign finance data, produce succinct reports for communications staff, and help translate complex issues into clear narratives. A bachelor’s degree and political research exposure are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read, analyze and format news clips, voting histories, campaign finance data, filings and records.
• Develop succinct research documents for rapid response and staff use.
• Monitor and extract key points from local and national news.
• Simplify complex issues into concise narratives.
• Support department and DNC mission with additional duties.
