Primary Responsibilities

The Polisher is responsible for polishing all china, glass, and silverware related to the dining experience. They are also responsible for delivering polished china, glass, and silverware to side stations and storage units.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Expected to participate in daily service meetings.
• Must be able to clearly and confidently communicate with the service team, kitchen staff, and management.
• Be fully aware of service flow in all dining areas.
• Ability to polish and clean china, glassware, and silverware.
• Deposit china, glassware, and silver in a standardized and orderly manner in the dishwashing area.
• Stock and maintain the service side stations.
• Clean and organize service stations, including the sweeping and vacuuming of floors.
• Ongoing cleaning and maintenance of workstation according to established restaurant procedures. This includes pre-shift, post-shift, daily, weekly, and monthly duties as assigned by management.
• Removing linen bags from the service floor
• Deposit compost, trash, and recycling in proper receptacles
• With the guidance of floor managers and F&B directors, may be asked to train new polishers.
• Must report problem situations to management immediately.
• Required to attend mandatory meetings when scheduled.
• Responsible for adherence to dress code, grooming, and hygiene standards.
• Required to attend mandatory meetings when scheduled.
• Responsible for adherence to posted work schedule and arrival time. Must follow established procedures for schedule changes and arrival time.
• Schedule may include participation in Club wide Member or Private Events
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Must have and be able to do all of the following:
