Job summary

The Jacobson Group is seeking an experienced PolicyCenter Developer for a six-month contract position, potentially converting to a permanent role. This primarily remote role involves developing and enhancing PolicyCenter components while collaborating within an Agile team environment. Job description

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced PolicyCenter Developer for a six-month contract position, with the potential to convert to a permanent role. This is a primarily remote position, with occasional onsite work required.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop PolicyCenter components, including theproduct model, rating engine, APIs, user interface, batch processes and integrations.
  • Implement enhancements and resolve configuration issues.
  • Participate in spring planning and demos within an Agile development team.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, QA teamsand consulting partners.
  • Write clean, maintainable code and support code reviews.
  • Support production Guidewire applications, including on-call responsibilities.
  • Use Splunk and DataDog (APM) tools to troubleshoot and improve performance.
  • Research new cloud capabilities and perform upgrades.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment focused onmutual growth.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineeringor related field
  • Experience developing in GOSU for PolicyCenter configurations
  • Guidewire Cloud Associate Developer certification or willingness to obtain
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelinesand deployment practices
  • Strong communication, creative thinking and problem solving skills
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development


Pay Range:
The anticipated pay range for this position is $40-48 per hour.

The final pay for this position is determined based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant experience, skills and certifications, education and training, geographic location, market conditions, and internal equity.
