Job summary

KBR is seeking a Policy Team Lead to direct a team providing policy support to the CIO for a government customer in Northern Virginia. The role emphasizes leadership, technical direction, and program management within a mission-driven environment.

The position requires active TS/SCI clearance and a strong background in project and portfolio management, with experience delivering materials for senior leaders and coordinating with vendors and procurement teams.

Qualifications

• Current and active Top Secret / SCI clearance required.
• Minimum of four years of experience as a project manager.
• Experience providing technical support materials for senior leaders (e.g., strategic papers, options analyses, executive briefings).
• Experience overseeing portfolio / program performance and resource planning.
• Experience with acquisition / procurement strategy, vendor management and enterprise licensing concepts.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data analytics, software engineering, or related technical field and 8+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct the execution of contractual, technical, engineering, programming, maintenance, and administrative efforts of the team.
• Brief leadership on program progress, status, and milestones achieved.
• Serve as primary interface with the government customer on technical and project issues.
• Maintain awareness of the customer’s mission and potential impacts to that mission.
