Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and education. US: $116000 - $166000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Government, Public Affairs, Communications or a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience working within technology, government, political communications, political campaigns, or public affairs firms.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain policy materials and help craft policy narratives for Google's engagement with local, state, and national policymakers on critical tech policy issues that directly impact Google’s business.
• Architect and own the processes that manage various cross-functional inputs and rigorously track action items.
• Proactively spot opportunities and issues and generate ideas for strategic engagement.
• Draft written materials, talking points and executive briefing documents to advance Google's public policy and business objectives.
• Track multiple priorities simultaneously, maintaining rigorous follow-through.
• Partner across GAPP, product, and cross-functional teams to distill complex technical details into actionable insights relevant to policy audiences.
• Write regular internal updates detailing project statuses and upcoming events for executive and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Leverage emerging AI tools and streamline, optimize and enhance workflows.
