Stanford University’s SIEPR invites applications for the Predoctoral Research Fellows Program to work full-time with SIEPR faculty on economics research projects.

Predocs engage in professional development, may enroll in one Stanford course per quarter, and pursue PhD-related research opportunities over a fixed term of up to two years, beginning July 6, 2027. Visa and work authorization considerations apply as described.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable life science, social science, physical science or related discipline.
• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and conduct research tasks under supervision, applying theory and methods.
• Develop and administer surveys; summarize results for supervisor.
• Review data for accuracy and compliance with protocols.
• Identify and summarize data; present findings to supervisor.
• Conduct literature searches and write summaries for manuscripts.
• Organize data using statistical programs as needed.
• Adapt methods and materials for research projects under guidance.
• Assist in communicating research findings through web content, reports, or papers.
