Harvard University invites applications for the Salata Institute Predoctoral Research Fellowship in Environmental Economics. Fellows conduct research under 1-2 faculty mentors with a path toward a PhD, in a one-year appointment starting summer 2027, with renewal possible.

The program supports mentorship, collaboration, and professional development in a supportive environment. Fellows work full-time in Cambridge, MA, attend seminars, and may take courses in economics.

Qualificações

• Undergraduate degree expected by Summer 2027.
• Strong quantitative background in economics, math, statistics, and computer science.
• Experience with programming, data science, and geospatial analysis (R, Stata, Julia, MATLAB or Python).
• Interest in pursuing a PhD and ability to work independently in a collaborative setting.

Responsabilidades

• Work with 1-2 faculty mentors on research projects across environmental and agricultural economics.
• Prepare for doctoral research through exposure to a range of research tasks and stages.
• Engage in a supportive, collaborative, and rigorous research environment.
• Work full-time, in-person at Harvard in Cambridge, MA, attending events and seminars as applicable.
