Job summary

The Policy & Research Fellow at City and County of San Francisco’s Office of the Treasurer & Tax Collector will conduct research, analyze legislation, draft communications, and assist with program implementation that supports low-income residents. This part-time role runs through June 2027 with potential extension.

Working with the SF Economic Justice Center, the fellow will help track bills, prepare media briefings, organize research libraries, and coordinate interviews and meetings while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in policy, public or business administration, accounting, finance, economics, social sciences or related fields.
• Graduate degree in a related field (in progress acceptable).
• 1+ year (2-3 preferred) of professional-level management or administrative/research duties.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze topics related to youth financial inclusion and asset building for EJC initiatives.
• Track and analyze financial fraud, scams, and safe financial services for consumers.
• Develop clear and concise graphics and summaries of research data.
