Sherpa 6, Inc. is seeking a motivated college student for a Government Relations and Public Policy internship in Fall 2026 at Springfield, VA. You will gain hands-on experience tracking legislation, analyzing policies, and developing advocacy strategies aligned with corporate objectives.

Responsibilities include synthesizing policy developments into reports, briefing materials, and coordinating external advocacy efforts, with note-taking and summaries for government meetings on Capitol Hill.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a B.S. degree in Political Science, Public Policy, or International Relations.
• Exceptional research and writing skills are required to draft white papers and policy positions.
• Superior business acumen with ability to understand public policy and corporate strategy.
• Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Learn how state and federal legislative and regulatory activities impact corporate operations and market sectors.
• Synthesize political and policy developments into clear reports, briefing materials, and presentations.
• Assist in coordinating external advocacy efforts and stakeholder outreach programs.
• Take notes and prepare summaries for meetings with government officials in Capitol Hill environments.
