Job summary

Hiscox USA is seeking a Policy Operations Specialist in Boston to execute midterm policy changes, endorsements, cancellations, renewals, and ongoing maintenance with a strong customer-service mindset.

Reporting to the Policy Operations Manager, you will support brokers and clients, collaborate across Corix Operations, and strive for accuracy, compliance, and scaling the policy lifecycle in a hybrid work environment requiring two days in the office weekly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced, customer-service oriented operational environment.
• 1+ year of experience in an insurance-related servicing, policy administration, or operations role.
• Strong organizational and execution skills, with the ability to manage high volumes of servicing requests.
• Excellent communication, follow-through, and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfort working in ambiguity while maintaining composure in complex or regulated environments.

The Role

The Policy Operations Specialist plays a key role in ensuring the accurate, timely, and efficient execution of policy administration activities across the policy lifecycle. This role is responsible for executing broker and client servicing requests, including midterm policy changes, cancellations, renewals, and ongoing policy maintenance needs.

The Team

Corix Operations is responsible for the execution, accuracy, and continuous improvement of core operational processes that support the policy lifecycle. The team partners closely with Underwriting, and internal stakeholders to deliver a seamless servicing experience for brokers and clients while ensuring operational excellence and compliance.

This role sits within Corix Operations and reports directly to the Policy Operations Manager, serving as a hands‑on executor and key support partner for both day‑to‑day servicing and future‑state process improvements.

Job Summary

Salary: $50-$70k

The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
