Job summary

Meta seeks an experienced Public Policy Manager to support the company’s infrastructure and energy policy strategy for data center operations, site selection, and energy goals. You will partner with regional policy teams and business units to advance policy initiatives and engage external stakeholders.

Responsibilities include tracking legislation, coordinating cross-functional teams, and developing strategic policy proposals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of energy policy experience.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams and deadlines.
• Ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives.
• Ability to work with large cross-functional groups including technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of cross-functional policy initiatives related to data center infrastructure, energy, and economic development.
• Track energy and data center infrastructure legislation across US states and federal level.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to identify policy issues affecting data center operations.
• Support policy engagement strategies informed by business needs and public opinion.
• Prepare summaries and memos on infrastructure and energy policies.
• Support other policy issues such as tax and trade as needed.
