Job summary

Xcel Energy in Wisconsin is seeking a Service Policy Intern to support tariff rules, standards, and regulatory requirements while gaining hands-on experience in policy administration and data analysis.

You will work with Policy Analysts across Opco's and cross-functional teams, contributing to process improvements and documentation, with a May 24, 2027 start and potential extension based on performance.

Qualifications

• Current student enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in relevant fields.
• Able to work full-time during summer or part-time during school year per hybrid policy.
• Must commute to designated work location in-person.

Responsibilities

• Assist with research and documentation related to tariff rules, administrative instructions, and regulations.
• Support organization of Service Policy resources, SharePoint content, forms and process documentation.
• Participate in process improvement efforts, including workflow documentation and automation opportunities.
• Support Service Policy Analysts with customer project reviews and exception tracking.
• Help develop training materials, presentations, and communications for internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Design, Engineering, Operations, Regulatory, and Customer teams to gather information.
