Job summary

Invariant LLC, a bipartisan government relations and communications firm, seeks an Associate, Government Relations to join our team. You’ll work directly with team members to gain valuable insights into the policymaking process and develop your network on the Hill and with Washington stakeholders.

You will research policy updates, monitor federal legislation, coordinate meetings with policymakers, and support events.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with the federal legislative process and agencies.
  • Some Capitol Hill internship experience preferred.
  • Strong research and writing skills with ability to interpret Washington audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Research and draft policy updates and collateral for clients and policymakers.
  • Monitor hearings and track federal legislation and regulations.
  • Spot issues and disseminate timely information to clients.
  • Coordinate meetings with federal policymakers and external stakeholders.
  • Support networking, business development, and events.
