Qualifications

  • Excellent writing, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with congressional and executive staff.
  • Technologically savvy with CRM tools and Excel for tracking engagements.
  • Ability to identify engagement opportunities in a dynamic policy environment.
  • Commitment to integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Organizes, conducts, and staffs briefings and discussions to promote dialogue and policy development.
  • Cultivates and manages collaborative relationships within the policy community.
  • Manages contact information of key administration and congressional officials and staff.
  • Attends hearings and prepares memos summarizing key points.
  • Tracks important dates on calendars and keeps leadership informed of developments.
  • Drafts briefing memos, invitations, and other correspondence.
  • Conducts research on policy proposals as needed.
