Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent; and two years of professional experience in program evaluation, research, and the collection and analysis of both quantitative and qualitative data.

Responsibilities

Assists Governor’s Advisors in researching, evaluating, and preparing comprehensive analyses of state agency policy, proposed policy revisions, issuing briefs, and written materials on complex state policy, and programmatic issues.
Assists the Governor’s Advisors in program planning, development, and implementation.
Assists in evaluating agency operations and drafts timely and factual reports of findings and recommendations.
Assists in the preparation of reports, studies, and specialized research projects.
Engages community and professional groups through constituent and stakeholder meetings.
Actively contributes to the development and advancement of the Governor’s policy priorities, working in coordination within the Governor’s executive staff, press office, appointments staff, and legislative staff, as well as with legislative offices and state agencies.
