The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Division of Social Services is seeking a Policy Consultant to support Foster Home Licensing, Private Agency Licensing, and Interstate Services. This role provides statewide policy interpretation, regulatory alignment, and guidance to public and private agencies.

• Experience developing or revising policy, procedures, or written guidance in a human service or regulatory setting.
• Experience interpreting and applying federal and state laws, Administrative Code, and child welfare program standards.
• Experience in child welfare, including foster home licensing, private agency licensing, interstate services, or permanency planning.
