Job summary

Regent Bank is seeking a Policy & Process Improvement Administrator to manage the policy lifecycle and drive cross‑department improvement initiatives. You will ensure policies stay current, compliant, and aligned with operations while identifying efficiency gains and stronger controls.

As an individual contributor, you will partner with Risk, Compliance, and business leaders, maintain the centralized policy repository, coordinate annual reviews, and support audits and regulatory exams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or related field preferred.
  • 4–8 years in banking, operations, compliance, or governance.
  • Experience supporting regulatory exams preferred.
  • Experience with policy management systems preferred.
  • Lean or Six Sigma certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and administer centralized policy repository with version control.
  • Coordinate annual policy reviews and approvals, including board policies.
  • Ensure policies are compliant and aligned with regulatory expectations.
  • Identify policy gaps and recommend improvements.
  • Analyze and improve departmental workflows.
  • Develop and support SOPs across departments.
  • Support audits and regulatory exams.
  • Track and report key metrics.
  • Prepare executive-level reports and presentations.
  • Serve as a subject matter resource for governance and process improvement.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Summary:

The Policy & Process Improvement Administrator manages the bank’s corporate policy lifecycle while driving process improvement initiatives across departments. This role ensures policies remain current, compliant, and aligned with operations, while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, strengthen controls, and support regulatory readiness. This position operates as an individual contributor and serves as a key partner to Risk, Compliance, and business leaders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and administer the bank’s centralized policy repository, including version control and documentation standards
  • Coordinate and track annual policy reviews and approvals, including board-level policies
  • Ensure policies are compliant and aligned with regulatory expectations
  • Identify policy gaps and recommend improvements
  • Analyze and improve departmental workflows
  • Develop and support SOPs across departments
  • Support audits and regulatory exams
  • Track and report key metrics
  • Prepare executive-level reports and presentations
  • Serve as a subject matter resource for governance and process improvement
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Education And/Or Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or related field preferred
  • 4–8 years of banking, operations, compliance, or governance experience required
  • Experience supporting regulatory exams preferred
  • Experience with policy management systems preferred
  • Lean or Six Sigma certification is a plus

  • Strong understanding of banking operations and regulatory environment

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally
