Job summary

The City of New York's Mayor’s Office invites a Policy Analyst to join the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Health and Human Services. You will provide project management, research, and administrative support to advance programs for older adults, youth, people with disabilities, and other populations.

Ideal candidates are organized, have strong communication skills, and can navigate fast-paced local government environments, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in public policy or government.
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support and coordination for the Deputy Mayor's team.
• Assist with coordinating high-priority interagency workstreams and meetings.
• Support agency liaisons and monitor projects across the portfolio.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative policy research and analysis.
• Prepare memos, remarks, and public-facing materials for executive decisions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
