MORMC is responsible for, among other things, developing and recommending strategies, policies, procedures, and techniques to assess and manage financial, operational, and reputational risks in City agencies and offices. MORMC recommends measures to address risks identified in specific agency and City programs, activities, and issues. MORMC’s work covers the full spectrum of City agencies, projects, and issues. MORMC operates at the direction of the Office of the Chief Counsel to the Mayor and City Hall.
Under the overall direction of the Director and Deputy Director of Strategy & Operations, the Senior Policy Analyst will work directly with City agencies to coordinate strategies that identify risks and opportunities to improve services through a dynamic structure that prevents fraud, waste, and abuse and fosters compliance with legal requirements and best practices.
1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above; or
2. High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties as described above; or
3. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" or "2" above. However, all candidates must have at least one year of experience as described in "1" above.
