State of Colorado is seeking a policy analyst for DORA to support health policy analysis, regulatory drafting, stakeholder engagement, and rulemaking preparation. The role covers emerging health policy issues and ongoing litigation matters for the DOI.

Qualified candidates will have a mix of education and experience in state/federal government, with strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail. Hybrid work arrangement and in-office reporting are required.

Qualificações

• Two paths to qualify: 5 years government experience with health policy research and summaries.
• Or combination: college degree plus 3 years government experience (health policy).
• Bachelor’s degree plus 1 year government experience also qualifies.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct research on health policy topics, including emerging issues.
• Provide descriptive analyses and summaries for decision-makers.
• Draft regulatory/comment letters and support rulemaking processes.
• Assist health teams and DOI programs with policy and regulatory research.
• Support process improvements and No Surprises Act updates.
