Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services (DPSCS) seeks an experienced Police Trainer/Instructor to deliver mandated classes to entrance-level criminal justice students and coordinate training with other instructors. You will research and develop classes on related topics and support law enforcement in-service programs to ensure current materials.

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Five years of experience in the law enforcement profession.
• Substitutions allowed for education: 30 college credits per year of experience, or a Bachelor's degree.

Responsabilidades

• Instruct police entrance-level training classes.
• Evaluate training courses for value before use.
• Assist with law enforcement in-service classes.
• Design and implement assigned programmatic projects.
• Update training materials and presentations regularly.
• Coordinate delivery of training by other instructors.
• Answer inquiries on police training regulations from clients and the public.
• Complete special projects and assist at skills venues as needed.
