Police Support Services Temporary Pool

HR EMPLOYMENT/CAREERS

This is a pool of applicants for any Police Support Services temporary positions that may become available within the Foothill - De Anza Community College District. Applications submitted to this temporary pool will be screened by HR for minimum qualifications. After your application has been screened, you will receive an email notification regarding your status.

• Per Diem Emergency Manager
• Per Diem Police Dispatcher
• Per Diem Police Officer
• Per Diem Police Records Specialist

• Per Diem Rangemaster

The job descriptions for each title are as follows:

• Per Diem Community Service Officer: Oversee parking revenue collection, maintain and repair parking permit machines, patrol assigned areas, issue citations for illegal parking, and promote campus safety. Other duties as assigned.
• Per Diem Emergency Manager: Review and amend the District Emergency Operations Plan, develop training curricula, train staff on emergency procedures, and represent the district in emergency planning committees.
• Per Diem Police Dispatcher: Handle incoming calls and radio communications related to campus emergencies, perform clerical duties, and support full-time dispatchers as needed.
• Per Diem Police Officer: Provide protection for students, staff, and property, patrol assigned areas, investigate incidents, and complete reports. This is a part-time, on-call position.
• Per Diem Police Records Specialist: Support police records management, perform clerical tasks, assist students and staff, and issue parking permits. This is a part-time, on-call position.
• Per Diem Police Sergeant: Supervise personnel, assist with investigations, and perform technical tasks. This is a part-time, on-call position.
• Per Diem Rangemaster: Train officers in firearm policies, conduct firearms qualifications, review related policies, and coordinate with law enforcement agencies for training.
