The Southeastern Louisiana University's Police Department invites applications for the position of Police Sergeant. This position supervises one of our uniform patrol shifts that includes Police Officer 1, Police Officer 2, Police Officer 3, and a Communications Officer. The schedule for this shift is 5am-5pm or 5pm-5am, with rotating days off/on, depending on assignment. If you do not have a test score prior to applying to this posting, it may result in your application not being considered.Applicants without current test scores can apply to take the test at https://jobs.civilservice.louisiana.govMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Three years of law enforcement experience.EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will substitute for one year of the required experience.
