DeKalb County is hiring a Police Recruit who will attend the police academy and play a critical role in protecting life and property, deterring crime, and enforcing laws at the local, state, and federal levels. The position offers a path to becoming a Police Officer after successful academy completion and promotion opportunities.

Pay starts with a $61,000 base rate plus a $3,000 hiring incentive; with a 4-year degree, $64,050 base plus $3,000 incentive.
