The City of Phoenix is hiring Police Recruits for the Phoenix Police Department. A $7,500 signing bonus is paid in three installments, with an additional $2,500 referral bonus for referrals by current city employees.

Recruits undergo a 26-week paid training program at the Phoenix Regional Police Academy and are promoted to Police Officer after graduation. During the academy, recruits are paid at an hourly rate of $34.39 ($71,531.20 annually).
