The City of Fullerton seeks a Police Property and Evidence Supervisor to lead the intake, storage, safeguarding, disposal and inventory of police property and evidence. The role supports City operations by ensuring proper custody and timely disposition of materials.

Qualified candidates will have an associate degree, five years of police property experience with a year in leadership, plus a valid Property and Evidence PST certificate. A flexible schedule and background checks are required.

Competenze

• Associate degree or equivalent from an accredited college with major coursework in criminal justice, administration of justice, public administration, or related field.
• Five years of police property and evidence experience including one year of lead or supervisory experience.
• Possession of Police Officer's Standards and Training Property and Evidence Management Certificate.
• Flexibility to work a schedule that meets City needs; ability to travel within the area; valid CA Driver's License and DMV pull notice program participation; background and medical exams required.

Mansioni

• Supervise receipt, storage, safeguarding, disposal, inventory control, and issuance of police property and evidence.
• Perform custody and disposition duties for property and evidence for City employees and outside agencies.
• Coordinate with internal staff and outside agencies to ensure proper handling and documentation.
• Facilitate the assessment and background investigation process for applicants.
