Starting salary is $55,692 per year with yearly increases through a 14-year step plan. A $5,000 hiring bonus is offered to new recruits who sign an agreement to remain employed in good standing for two years. Lateral entry is possible based on experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• U.S. Citizenship.
• 21 years of age.
• no felony convictions or domestic violence history or convictions.
• valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned beats and investigate incidents.
• Enforce laws and protect life and property.
• Assist in the recruitment process and eligibility list formation.
