The department comprises 250 employees across three divisions: Field Services, Investigative Services, and Support Services, with a mission to ensure community safety and trust through transparency.
The Police Officer Trainee is an entry-level, non-sworn training position. Successful candidates will possess knowledge of law enforcement principles, the ability to interpret laws and regulations, and skills in establishing positive relationships. Candidates must complete a POST-approved academy and meet other requirements such as a valid California driver’s license and age criteria.
