Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old or turn 21 before graduating from training.
• Must possess a valid operator's license.
• Must successfully undergo a fingerprint check.
• Must have standard visual acuity with or without correction.
• Must be a person of good moral character.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the city and respond to emergency situations.
• Enforce laws and prevent crimes.
