City of Owensboro is actively recruiting Reserve Police Officers to patrol assigned beats, control traffic, and deter crime in Owensboro, KY. Officers may be reassigned to other units as needed, with incentive pay opportunities and annual step increases.

Job description

Currently Recruiting for Reserve Police Officers

• Competitive Salary based on years of experience: Supervisor, Instructor, and/or Specialized Training, etc.
• Eligible for annual step and COLA increases
• Eligible for up to $2,281 a year state incentive pay
• Yearly clothing allowance of $400

Patrols assigned beat on foot or in/on appropriate police vehicle in order to: control traffic, prevent crime, prevent disturbance of peace, arrest violators. May be assigned to other Units.

Must possess valid P.O.P.S. certification from the State of Kentucky

Status must not have been in review for revocation

Status must have been in good standing
